Shipping (Regular Items)
Shipping is selected as an add-on at checkout.
Please make sure you select the correct shipping profile for your country/region. If your region is not specified, please select the “everywhere else” profile. ALL products listed on this storefront ship from the UK.
The Dinosaur Circus ships to most countries, but there may be restrictions specified on listings for items such as taxidermy, animal bone art and art featuring antlers and horns.
As the landscape of international shipping changes, The Dinosaur Circus will update its policies accordingly.

Restricted Countries
these are countries that The Dinosaur Circus does NOT currently ship to die to various issues or refusal by Royal Mail to deliver there:
- Republic of Ireland
- Israel
- Afghanistan
in the event an order is placed to one of the above, it will be cancelled.
Incorrect Shipping Selection
You must select the correct shipping "profile" for your region when checking out. In the event of the wrong shipping profile being selected, you will be contacted to rectify the problem or cancel the order.
If you have paid for the wrong amount of shipping, you will be contacted straight away via email to begin rectifying the problem. This will come in the form of being asked to either pay the remaining amount for the correct shipping price or decide whether you would prefer to cancel your order.
You will be given 72 hours to respond once contacted. If no response is given, your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded your payment minus the payment processor fee. This is a small, non refundable fee taken by the payment processor and not the shop itself.
Incorrect shipping may be collected by way of:
- PayPal
- A custom listing containing the outsrtanding amount
Shipping Times
Please note that while prompt, shipping times may vary, especially if you live outside of the UK, where shipping times may exceed 1-2 weeks.
If the item you're purchasing is intended as a gift, it's best to order well ahead of time. This also applies for holiday gifts, as there may be significant postal delays during the month of December due to the Christmas rush.
Domestic (within the UK) Shipping
Orders to customers within the UK will be dispatched in 2-3 business days with Royal Mail.
Items that far exceed either the value of £250 or the weight of 6kg may be dispatched via UPS, this will be always be specified on large/expensive items listings.
International Shipping
If you are outside of the uk, your order will be dispatched within 3-4 business days with Royal Mail.
Orders that exceed either the value of £250 or the weight of 2kg may be dispatched via Royal Mail International Tracked Heavier, or UPS via Interparcel. This will be specified on large item listings.
Customs fees
If you are outside of the UK, importing items into your country may incur customs fees. These are your responsibility as the importer of the item.
Every country is different, so please be aware of this before you place an order. The Dinosaur Circus is not responsible for customs fees or costs.
You must provide a phone number at checkout so that customs can contact you in regards to payment of fees.
Animal Bones and Taxidermy

It is your responsibility as the buyer of an item containing real animal remains to make sure it is legal to import into your country.
Customs seizures will NOT result in a refund.
The Dinosaur Circus is NOT responsible for and has no control over any postal delays. They are not considered grounds for a refund.
Listings will specify in the description whether an item is able to ship to Australia or New Zealand.
Shipping Reimbursement
In the event of a return or refund, the Dinosaur Circus does not reimburse shipping, be it for returned items or refunds for items that have had shipping complications.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to obtain shipping for returns.
Care of Shipping
The Dinosaur Circus ships all products with utmost care! Your item will arrived carefully packed in bubblewrap, recycled shredded paper, newspaper (an exciting read for international buyers!) and in the case of large or particularly fragile items, foam wadding. You may easily separate out these materials after unpacking your item and place into the correct waste/recycling recepticle.
Some items conttaining wall mount brackets, bases and dioramas may ship dissasembled with a custom instruction sheet. This will be specified in the item's listing.
Boxes used for shipping the items sold on this site are strong, clean secondhand double-walled cardboard boxes that may be recycled upon end of use, this is an environmental and anti-theft protocol for packages.
Once an item has shipped, The Dinosaur Circus is no longer responsible for what may happen to it while in the mail system. This is a risk you agree to take when you purchase from this shop. If an item arrives damaged, please contact the shop via email IMMEDIATELY.
