Refund Policy & Cancellations
ALL sales are FINAL. Please ensure you have read the following before placing an order.
The Dinosaur Circus offers no refunds or exchanges due to the one off nature of the products, EXCEPT for if the item (excluding custom items) is returned in saleable condition.
This includes postal mishaps such as loss, damage and theft.
For orders containing multiple items, ALL items in the order must be present in order for a refund to occur.
please note that the postage cost AND payment processor fee (a small portion taken by Stripe) of an order are not included in the refund and is always non refundable.
Your refund will come with these costs deducted.
Once an item has shipped, The Dinosaur Circus is no longer responsible for what may happen to it while in the mail system. This is a risk you agree to take when you purchase from this shop.

If you bought the wrong item
If you accidentally purchased the wrong item, please contact the shop owner via the email contact box available.
Once acknowledged your order will be cancelled/refunded so that you may purchase the correct item.
please note that this must occur within the 24 hour cancellation period and cannot be done after an item has shipped.
If you would like to return an item
If you would like to return an item, you must mail the item back. It is the responsibility of the buyer to obtain return postage.
Once returned, a refund will be issued within 24 hours which may take a few days to show in the bank account used to make the purchase.
Custom items
Custom items are 100% non refundable, even if a return is attempted.
Postal Damage/loss
Packages are packed with the utmost care to ensure your item arrives safely to you. The Dinosaur Circus is not responsible for damages in transit.
In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives damaged, a case will be opened with the courier to recoup the value of the item. Once granted, the buyer will receive the compensation if granted by the courier.
This may take up to one month.
Photos of the inside, contents and outside of each outgoing parcel are always taken for insurance purposes.
In the unlikely event a loss or damage must be opened with Royal Mail or UPS, please help by providing images of your parcel.
The Dinosaur Circus does not refund orders in the event of postal damages.
If your package is returned due to a postal error
Occasionally, packages may be returned due to unforeseen mail circumstances that are out of the control of either the sender or customer.
While the Dinosaur Circus has the correct and up to date credentials necessary to ship to almost every country, the actions of individuals and customs is out of my hands and therefore the store cannot be held liable for packages being returned to sender.
An item may be returned due to any number of circumstances such as, the item(s) is prohibited, the address is missing information or simply by accident.
In the event that an item is sent back to the sender by the courier, there are 2 possible actions:
- Once the package is returned and the item(s) is received by the Dinosaur Circus, a refund may be given.
-The item(s) is assessed for any possible damage, repackaged and sent out to the buyer again.
PLEASE NOTE: if the latter option is chosen, you as a buyer may be charged shipping again.
Customs Seizures
The Dinosaur Circus is always upfront about the species and origin of specimens sold here, and is not liable for items being seized by customs if they are not allowed to come into your country.
Packages containing pieces made with animal remains will be sent with the Latin name of the animal clearly declared on the customs declaration.
Customs seizures will NOT result in a refund.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for any reason. To do so please message me via email at [email protected].
In the event your order is cancelled you will be refunded your payment minus the payment processor fee. This is a small, non refundable fee taken by the payment processor and not the shop itself.
Once the item has shipped, your order cannot be cancelled.
Gift orders
If the item you are ordering is a gift, please make sure you order well in advance of the event it is intended for, especially if you live outside of the UK where items may need additional time to clear customs.
The Dinosaur Circus takes on no responsibility for items ordered as gifts that do not arrive in time.
if you do purchase an item intended as a gift, you can upgrade you postage to a faster service, though this will incur a fee.
