Shipping
Shipping is selected as an add-on at checkout.
Please make sure you select the correct shipping profile for your country/region. If your region is not specified, please select the “everywhere else” profile.
The Dinosaur Circus ships to most countries, but there may be restrictions specified on listings for items such as taxidermy, animal bone art and art featuring antlers and horns.
Please feel free to ask! If in doubt please send an email via the contact box (see: contact) and ask about your specific country.
Restricted Countries
these are countries that The Dinosaur Circus does NOT currently ship to die to various issues or refusal by Royal Mail to deliver there:
- Republic of Ireland
- Germany
- Israel
- Afghanistan
- Ukraine
- Russia
in the event an order is placed to one of the above, it will be cancelled.
Incorrect Shipping Selection
In the event of the wrong shipping profile being selected, you will be contacted to rectify the problem or cancel the order.
If you have paid for the wrong amount of shipping, you will be contacted straight away to begin rectifying the problem. This will come in the form of being asked to either pay the remaining amount for the correct shipping price or decide whether you would prefer to cancel your order.
You will be given 72 hours to respond once contacted. If no response is given, your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded your payment minus the payment processor fee. This is a small, non refundable fee taken by the payment processor and not the shop itself.
Shipping Times
Please note that while prompt, shipping times may vary, especially if you live outside of the UK, where shipping times may exceed 1-2 weeks.
If the item you're purchasing is intended as a gift, it's best to order well ahead of time. This also applies for holiday gifts, as there may be significant postal delays during the month of December due to the Christmas rush.
Domestic (within the UK) Shipping
The Dinosaur Circus is based in the United Kingdom.
Orders to customers within the UK will be dispatched in 2-3 business days with Royal Mail.
Orders that exceed either the value of £250 or the weight of 6kg will dispatched via UPS.
This will be specified on large items listings.
International Shipping
If you are outside of the uk, your order will be dispatched within 3-4 business days with Royal Mail.
Orders that exceed either the value of £250 or the weight of 2kg will dispatched via UPS.
This will be specified on large item listings.
Customs fees
If you are outside of the UK, importing items into your country may incur customs fees. These are your responsibility as the importer of the item.
Every country is different, so please be aware of this before you place an order. The Dinosaur Circus is not responsible for customs fees or costs.
You must provide a phone number at checkout so that customs can contact you in regards to payment of fees.
Animal Bones and Taxidermy
It is your responsibility as the buyer of an item containing real animal remains to make sure it is legal to import into your country.
Customs seizures will NOT result in a refund.
The Dinosaur Circus is NOT responsible for and has no control over any postal delays. They are not considered grounds for a refund.
Shipping Reimbursement
In the event of a return or refund, the Dinosaur Circus does not reimburse shipping, be it for returned items or refunds for items that have had shipping complications.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to obtain shipping for returns.
Once an item has shipped, The Dinosaur Circus is no longer responsible for what may happen to it while in the mail system. This is a risk you agree to take when you purchase from this shop.
